Saw a VC friend today and had a really interesting conversation. She gave me feedback on who I am and I’m super grateful. She said I was misunderstood. Who I am as a person and who I am online do not match up. Good. This is the first test. People don’t like you. People don’t appreciate who you are. You’re being misunderstood every day. Good. I’m only known as ‘the guy who writes’ which is also kinda who I am. I have different personalities to different people. Good. I want to be misunderstood. People don’t know me. They don’t know how much work and time I’ve put into doing what I’ve done. They have no idea. That’s all by design. They don’t need to know. Work on your writing and everything else will come. Learn how to set up your own podcast and editing and you’ll be unstoppable. Remember, outsource everything you don’t want to do. Let an editor handle that. Be yourself. You’re just as good as anyone else in the world. Never forget that. You deserve this. You busted your ass. You’ve been misunderstood your whole life. That’s never stopped you from going after what you want so go get it. It’s there for the taking. Work your ass off and show these people how misunderstood you really are!
