Innocents always lose:

Innocents always lose.

Always.

‍

The people caught in the crossfire.

‍

It’s not the criminals on either side.

‍

It’s those in the middle who suffer through no fault of their own.

‍

This week has been hard.

‍

Hamas killed hundreds of Israelis in a coordinated attack that was Israel’s 9/11.

‍

For decades, Israel has told its citizens it would protect them.

‍

They have some of the best security forces in the world.

‍

The best cyber security software.

‍

One of the best militaries.

‍

And yet it didn’t matter.

‍

The Netanyahu government failed to protect its citizens.

‍

Hamas militants were able to breach multiple cities and kill hundreds of people.

‍

Men, women, children and grandparents.

‍

Going into villages and systematically killing Jews one by one.

‍

That’s horrific.

‍

Terrifying.

‍

Despicable.

‍

So what did Israel do?

‍

It’s about to commit war crimes in response.

‍

They’re bombing Gaza continuously.

‍

They stopped food, water and electricity from getting into Gaza.

‍

They gave Palestinians a few days to evacuate a small area and while they did that, they kept bombing Gaza.

‍

They may undertake a ground offensive that could bring many more countries into the fold.

‍

This could grow into a world war very quickly.

‍

I hate this.

‍

I’m saddened by this.

‍

I’m broken by this.

‍

Ray Dalio wrote last week how we’re not far away from a world war.

‍

If Iran gets involved, then the US likely gets involved and all hell breaks loose.

‍

That is fucking terrifying.

‍

We don’t need more violence.

‍

We don’t need more murder.

‍

We don’t need more killing.

‍

Yet these leaders don’t care.

‍

These Western military-industrial complexes doesn’t care.

‍

These politicians don’t care.

They don’t care about the innocent lives.

They don’t care about the consequences.

‍

They don’t care about the repercussions.

‍

When you hurt me, I’ll come back with even more force.

‍

That’s what Israel is doing.

‍

Does the West even care?

‍

Is the West going to intervene?

‍

Are they going to let Israel commit war crimes for the world to see?

‍

Let’s see.

‍

It’s sad.

‍

It’s brutal.

‍

It’s disheartening.

‍

Millions of lives are about to change forever.

‍

Through no fault of their own.

‍

Sadly it’s the innocents that always lose.
