Jul.23.24 - Day 2123 - Never take where you are for granted

I feel so blessed. Looking up in front of me is all the parks of me. A board with my tagline ‘Keep Going You’re Doing great.’ A family calendar with pics of all of us, a tradition we’ve been doing for over a decade. A poster of Man in the Arena speech by Theodore Roosevelt. A reminder to always remember who’s in the arena and who’s not. 2 dreams I have. A Picasso picture I picked up just before Covid started at the Picasso museum in Barcelona. A print of Jurgen Klopp, the most impactful coach of my lifetime. My desktop monitor and workbook representing my day to day life. Pens to write with. Sticky notes. A squish brain for stress. Two chapsticks because you never know when your lips are going to be dry. Up above me a shelf with all the books I’ve read. And lastly a mini book by John Templeton, one of the greatest investors of the 20th century. Inspiration all around me. Reminders of how far I’ve come and motivation to keep me going. Had to take a pause today and look around to see how lucky I am to be in this situation. Never take where you are for granted. One day you’ll be wishing to be back to this moment.
