Life is unpredictable:

Life is unpredictable.

You think you know what you’re doing.

You think you know what your life will be like.

You think you know how you’re going to respond in all situations.

Then Boom.

Everything changes.

For good.

And for bad.

You get opportunities you never thought possible.

You make more money than you can imagine.

You become more well-known than you ever thought.

Then boom.

Someone close to you dies.

Someone you knew your whole life.

Someone who inspired you.

Gone.

Just like that.

We’re all going to deal with it.

That pain never goes away.

When you hear their name.

Or see their picture.

Or remember their laugh.

That feeling - it never disappears.

You just can’t get over that.

You try and hold it down.

You try and move on.

You try and get back to life.

But you can’t.

That hole in your heart is there.

Forever.

You still have to get on with life.

You still have to push forward.

You still have to grieve.

Even when your world flips upside down.

It’s coming for all of us.

It’s a reminder.

Enjoy every moment.

Every little thing.

The laugh.

The conversations.

The moments of joy.

Seeing them smile.

Enjoying their company.

Being present.

Being in front of them.

Because they will go.

You don’t know when.

You don’t know how.

You don’t know where.

But sadly they will.

Cherish the time you have with them because…

Life is unpredictable.
