Make your group:

Make your group.

Make it.

Put it together.

I’ve done this for a few years.

Take initiative.

Find people you like and put them together.

That’s it.

Over time, you’ll learn who’s solid.

Who’s good.

Who cares.

Put those people in the same room.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Find friends.

Do it together.

We are increasingly distancing ourselves.

We work from home.

We’re on our phones.

We don’t talk to people.

So flip that.

Find people you like and get them together.

Organize it.

Call the local places in your area.

Ask if they have space.

See what happens.

Get everyone together once a quarter.

Every 3 months.

Find a spot.

Not that hard.

Google reviews.

What’s highly rated?

Call them.

Send them an email.

Find out.

Lots of places have space and time.

Just ask.

Then invite.

Do it for a year.

4 times a year meet up somewhere with people you think are awesome and can interact with others.

Do that for more than a year and all of a sudden, those people become your family.

They become your lifeline.

They become your benchmark for how your industry works.

Its happened to me.

Twice.

Be the person that organizes.

Set a time and date.

Not that hard.

All of a sudden you’re dancing at a friend’s house 10 tequilas deep, laughing and busting a move with your friends who have become like family.

Go find them.

Search for them.

Hang out with them.

Then bring them together.

Push all of them to come.

Cool people love meeting cool people.

Do that and you’ll win together.

Forever.

Go make your group.
