Inspiration is everywhere. You don’t have to look far to find it. The simple things are inspiring. A great conversation with your mom, the smell of a nice cup of coffee in the morning, watching someone excel at their craft. But you have to look for it. You have to pay attention to the world outside your world. Understand how people live in a different part of the world. Learn about cultures and languages you’ve never heard of. Start watching successful people in other cultures. Learn from everyone. They all have something to teach you if you shut down your ego and stay curious. Listen to someone else tell you what things they’re really feeling. We’re all fascinating and individual yet the human experience is shared and universal. We’re all living our own lives yet so many others have lived the same lives as you. Learn from them. Apply their teachings and lessons to your life. Go find role models, especially when they’re not in your immediate environment. Write down what you want to be and go learn from the people who are already there. They have a lot to teach you and a lot to say. They’ll also inspire you to be better and reach your potential, whatever that may be. Be inspired.
