Day 1112 - Nov.2.21 - Take a step back

Sometimes you have to take a step back. Stop. Let the world come to you. Don’t go chasing for all the opportunities. Let them come to you at the right time. Just be. Don’t be overthinking about your future and all that you’re trying to accomplish when none of that exists. All of that is an idea in your mind that may or may not come true. Even if it does come true, it will never be how you expect it. You won’t know how to handle a situation until you’re in it, but use your judgment. Listen to the books that have told you about successful people who have been here before. Listen to how they navigated the world. Understand their experiences and if they were an expert in their field, trust their advice on best practices. Don’t immediately jump in but sit and think. Let time go by. You never make the best decisions impulsively. You need to give yourself space to think. You’re always in a rush to get things done, mostly due to how I was raised, but you cannot speed up time. Things have to happen as they may and you have to react. Control and focus on what you can but let the rest happen as it will and be ready for opportunities. Life is being smart and working hard and the smarter you work, the more successful you’ll be.
