Dear (younger) Anish,

Boy I’m old. You keep talking to your friends and tell them how you’re getting older every day because time seems to be going so fast. Well guess what? It only feels like it’s going faster as you grow older. I still feel like a kid at heart and yet I’m on 10 pills a day and probably already had a cancer scare. That being said, take care of your body every day, as well as your mind, and you’ll always be ok. Invest in yourself because all that work you were doing at 24 is going to pay off exponentially. Don’t be scared of the future because life never ever works out the way you imagined. You’re going to go through many different iterations in your life. At this point, you’re going to be quite successful, people will quietly know who you are and they'll be enamoured by you. Never forget that you could be any of them as well and that you always need to be giving back. Appreciate the moments you have with people because you never know when the smallest conversation will forever change your life. Love life because it’s the only thing you have. You’re going to subconsciously want to compete with the people around you but never forget you’re only playing this game of life against yourself. Life will throw the kitchen sink at you but as long as you dodge it and are a good handy man, you’ll be ok.

Sincerely,

Anish
