Crisis creates opportunity. Politicians' idiotic decisions over decades create times of crisis where the population suffers at the hands of the elite. Where we are today is the result of terrible leadership and policy decisions for decades and the choice by Western governments and democracies to allow their political systems to be corrupted by money and corporations. Why are billionaires celebrated? Why are we always talking about the same ones like Elon and Bezos rather than the hundreds of white gays playing the market through derivatives and options and creating fake money out of nowhere through naked shorting and failure to delivers? How can our systems of law and justice be corrupted so much that we’re allowing the criminals, aka the banks and Wall Street, to run our society? Feels like we’re on the precipice of a major global shift where the power dynamic shifts from capital to labour. Feels very pre-communist/socialist at this point because the ultra-elite have corrupted so many institutions around the world. Now that inflation is here and no central banker is serious about fighting it, where do we go from here? All you can do is get educated. Invest in yourself and your own education. Do everything you can to learn and teach the world as we go through a time of great crisis. Great men are created in times of crisis, maybe I’ll get there someday. Regardless, now’s the opportunity for change.
