The man who loves walking:

‍

The man who loves walking.

‍

Be the man who loves walking.

‍

Who loves trying.

‍

Showing up.

‍

Putting one foot in front of the other.

‍

Who keeps going.

‍

Even when things are hard.

‍

Who chooses not to stop.

‍

But to keep walking.

‍

Life is one long walk.

‍

We think that we want to get to the end of the walk.

‍

People think that’s the goal.

‍

Happiness is when I get there.

‍

But most people never learn.

‍

The walk is the whole point.

‍

Being on the walk.

‍

Enjoying the walk.

‍

Struggling through the walk.

‍

Seeing different places.

‍

Experiencing different things.

‍

Actually enjoying the walk.

Not the steps behind you.

‍

Or the steps in front of you.

‍

But exactly where you are.

‍

Exactly where your feet are.

‍

Look down.

‍

And keep walking.

‍

One foot in front of the other.

‍

You are so much more capable than you think.

‍

So much.

‍

You limit yourself.

‍

You talk down to yourself.

‍

You hold negative beliefs.

‍

You let those negative beliefs dictate your life.

‍

Dictate your actions.

‍

Why?

‍

Why do you do this?

Most likely because someone told you that you weren’t good enough as a kid.

‍

Don’t listen to them.

‍

Never listen to them.

‍

They don’t know your life.

‍

They don’t know who you are.

‍

Or what you’ve done.

‍

Look how much you struggled to get here.

‍

Where you’re sitting.

‍

Right now.

‍

Be proud of that.

‍

As hard as it was.

‍

As much as you think you should be doing more.

‍

Or earning more.

‍

Or achieving more.

‍

Be proud.

‍

Be thankful.

‍

Be grateful.

‍

Grateful that life has brought you here.

‍

Brought you to this point on the walk.

‍

Now keep walking.

‍

Don’t let your past steps define you.

‍

Don’t let them linger in you.

‍

Don’t let them overpower you.

‍

Focus on the steps ahead.

‍

Look up.

‍

Notice what’s around you.

‍

Then keep walking.

‍

Keep showing up.

‍

Keep trying.

‍

When people ask me how I’ve achieved success, it’s this.

‍

I just keep walking.

‍

Keep trying.

‍

Keep failing.

‍

Keep showing up.

‍

Even when life gets hard.

‍

Especially when life gets hard.

‍

You can always make an excuse.

‍

Everyone is always making them.

‍

You included.

‍

But you don’t have time.

‍

Literally.

‍

You get one chance on this planet.

‍

That life could be gone tomorrow.

‍

And yet you waste your time not walking.

‍

You’re too caught up in the past or future to act.

‍

You’re too worried about what other people think about your walk.

‍

Screw them.

‍

Here’s the secret.

‍

They’ve never been watching your walk in the first place.

‍

They’re too focused on themselves.

So enjoy your walk.

‍

Find your destination.

‍

Choose it yourself.

‍

Then start walking.

‍

One foot in front of the other.

‍

Do that till the end, and you’ll have an unbelievable walk.

‍

Be the man who loves walking.
