The work has just begun:

The work has just begun.

Being great takes a long time.

Committing to the same process over and over again to become excellent at it.

You may never get to be excellent but it cannot be for lack of effort.

Commit to the process not the outcomes.

The outcomes will come.

Most people look for the end goal before taking the first step.

Just keep stepping.

Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Keep going.

Keep learning.

Keep failing.

Commit to the work.

Forget about what you’ve done up till now.

That doesn’t matter.

What matters is today.

This moment in front of you.

The past is gone and the future is uncertain.

You can’t control a lot of what will happen to you.

You’ll have to get lucky.

But you can control effort.

You can control how much work you’re willing to put in.

That’s up to you.

No one else decides that for you.

If you want something, get after it.

Stay committed to it.

Keep pushing through all the failure and rejection.

If you stay committed long enough to the work, the dreams will come.

But nothing comes easy.

Nothing comes without initiative.

Without taking risks.

Without pushing the boundaries of what you thought you were capable of.

You have to work harder than the next guy.

But it’s not just harder, it’s smarter.

You have to learn how to play the game from the masters who have done it before you.

Every interpersonal problem we face today has been solved before.

Go see how other people have handled life.

Learn from those who’ve accomplished a lot in their life.

Then do the work.

Commit to the process and do the mundane.

Excellence lies in effort.

Even though you’ve done some work up till now, you haven’t accomplished anything.

The work has just begun.
