So many instances where I kept thinking about people’s jobs.

The cab driver on the way to the airport.

‍

The people who made the car.

‍

The people who made the parts to the car.

‍

The people at the airport check-in desk.

‍

The people who designed the airport.

The people who built it.

The people at security.

‍

The people at duty free.

‍

The people who made the goods at duty-free.

‍

The alcohol, the luggage, the chocolate, the clothes.

‍

Someone out there designed, created, and shipped those products.

‍

The pilots and flight attendants.

The air traffic controllers and baggage handlers.

The people who built the plane.

‍

The people who installed the movie system.

‍

The people who made the movies.

‍

The people who made the shows.

‍

The people who picked me up in Jordan.

‍

The people who designed the website for me to order a cab.

‍

The people who built the house we stayed at.

‍

The people who designed and built the hotel we stayed at.

‍

The people who worked at the coffee shop.

‍

The people who packaged and shipped the coffee.

‍

The people who made the croissants.

‍

The people who made the ingredients.

‍

The people who created Careem, Jordan’s Uber.

The people who built the roads and highways.

‍

The people who work in the Dead Sea.

The people who catered the wedding.

The people who brought the flowers.

The people who brought the sound system.

The people who created the Jordanian music.

The people who built tables.

‍

The people who cook unique meals.

The people who created gym equipment.

The people who created the clothes you wear in every environment.

People out there do all of that and more.

‍

It’s a reminder for young people.

There are so many jobs out there.

‍

So many you don’t even know about.

‍

Don’t think that you’re stuck in one place where you are.

‍

You can always change up.

‍

Doesn’t mean it’ll be easy.

‍

But it does mean there’s more out there than you can imagine.

‍

Remember, there are so many jobs out there.
