Time is finite:

Time is finite.

We’re here for but a moment.

It goes so quickly.

Especially as you age.

We think we have a lot of time.

That time will always be on our side.

We don’t.

And it won’t.

It will disappear in an instant.

Time is your most important asset.

Not your money.

Or status.

Or wealth.

Or material things.

It is time.

How do you want to spend it?

Because it goes so fast.

One day you’ll blink and decades will disappear.

You’ll feel like the same person.

Only the world hasn’t slowed down.

It’s kept going.

So have you.

Mostly on autopilot.

Going from one thing to the next.

Focused on the past or future.

Not in the present.

Don’t miss your life.

You will.

It will go.

One day, you’ll wake up and wish you had more.

More time.

More time with family.

More time with friends.

More time with your partner.

More time with your kids.

More time experiencing the world.

More time.

You’ll wish you had more time.

Don’t let your life go to waste.

Don’t let your time be consumed by media.

Your phone.

TV.

Movies.

Sure they can be inspiring sometimes.

But most of the time it’s garbage.

Terrible.

Taking time away from you.

It’s how these companies operate.

They are incentivized to get you to waste your life.

The more time you spend on their platforms.

The more money they make.

It’s simple.

They’ve spent billions of dollars and the best minds in human psychology to hack your brain.

To hack your attention.

To hack your time.

They are stealing it away from you.

Every.

Single.

Day.

One day you’ll wake up and realize, where did all the time go?

Why don’t I have time to do the things I want?

You do.

You’re just wasting time.

Go watch some videos on Youtube about old people.

Ones you talk about their life lessons.

Watched this one recently

Old people just want one thing back.

Time.

Warren Buffett has famously been quoted that he would give up all of his money.

More than 100 billion dollars to get his time back.

He knows.

He’s going soon.

He’s a money billionaire.

But he’s a time millionaire.

I’d rather be the opposite.

Especially those of you reading or listening to this in your teens, 20s or 30s.

If you live to 80, you get 2.5 billion seconds.

That’s it.

It seems like a lot.

It’s not.

It disappears fast.

And you may end up with 1 million seconds left instead of a billion.

You never know when it’ll end.

That’s the scary thing about life.

But also the reality.

We are not here forever.

Our souls may go somewhere else.

Back to the collective consciousness, in my opinion.

But our physical bodies are gone.

So if you’re younger than 40, you should have over a billion seconds left in your life.

Don’t waste it.

Instead of consuming, create.

That’s it.

Get off your phone.

Get off your devices.

Go make stuff.

Just random shit.

Could be anything.

Start being a student again.

Try something new.

Make stuff you want to see in this world.

Might be the key to life.

The key to spending your time.

Creating.

Creating relationships.

Creating businesses.

Creating opportunities.

Creating experiences.

Creating what you want to see in the world.

Go use your time to create.

We don’t get that much time.

Use it wisely.

Our time is finite.
