What happens, happens - and then we are gone:

‘What happens, happens. And then we are gone.’

Beautifully put.

Those were the last lines of Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinnochio.

Fantastic movie.

Awesome animation.

Great story.

Lots of interesting themes and lessons.

A dad’s relationship with his boy.

The understanding that as children, what our parents say does not reflect on who we are.

They may say things in the moment they don’t mean.

They love you and are just trying to do the best for you.

Be yourself.

Don’t be anyone you’re not.

Love people for who they are, not who you want them to be.

We only get one shot.

There’s no blue sand and rabbits playing cards in our heaven.

We’re here one moment and gone the next.

Life is so precious.

We don’t get a second one.

Be careful of tricksters and contracts.

Many people will take advantage of you, especially if money is attached to it.

Stand up for what you believe in, even if you’re parents are telling you otherwise.

Solid move for all ages and one I’d definitely show young kids.

Thank you Guillermo and your team for inspiring.
