It’s such an advantage being born into privilege and opportunity. The amount of access and opportunity you get to advance your future is unbelievable, especially in today’s market where inequality is so high. When you’re born into it, it’s hard to see and truly appreciate how lucky you are because you don’t see that much financial struggle around you. You never are worried about if you’re going to go hungry or not be able to afford a roof over your head because these things will always be covered. You have time for fun and to think and to understand the world. When you’re struggling to afford basic necessities, you don’t get the luxury of time. This is why I’m so scared for this next crash because it will bring down so many people. Yes it’s mostly the rich who will lose their asset values but that will always be passed down to those at the bottom. Until we get to a society in which everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed, these inequalities will exist forever. The issue is when wealth inequality gets this high in history, it almost always ends badly for everyone involved. No matter the outcome, most of which you can’t control, keep writing and speaking your truth. The world deserves to know.
