Valentine’s day. The day of love. The day for couples to profess their love to each other with gifts, cards and dinners. It’s cute and am reminded how important it is to have someone you love next yo you. Make sure it’s someone who gives you energy, not takes it away from you. So happy for my brother. He’s found someone who makes him happy. Writing this next to all the gifts she’s sent for him and can tell she’s a special one. Make me so happy to see other people in my life happy. Do they feel the same way? I don’t know. They’ve never told me but I’m sure they do. Spent this evening with ___, my best friend, grabbing dinner and ice cream together after getting high. Love that man and all that he’s meant to me. Know he really cares about me and my happiness. Sometimes that’s all you need. All you need is one person to be there for you and believe in you. Hopefully you find that in a partner but could also be a friend or parent. We all need someone in our corner who believes in us and picks us up when we need it. So here’s to another single Valentine’s day. Hopefully it’s my last. Regardless, keep showing love to those in your life.
