They don’t care:

They don’t care.

They don’t care about you.

They don’t give a shit about you.

Burn that into your brain.

If you disappeared tomorrow, they wouldn’t care.

They’d be upset in the moment then they’d move on.

They’re not thinking about you.

They’re thinking about themselves.

They’re selfish.

We’re all selfish.

We all prioritize ourselves more than others.

In certain situations that’s right.

In others, it’s not.

When you’re meeting people, ask about them.

Be curious.

Learn about them.

Learn about who they are.

Learn about their story.

Understand their background.

Understand how they got here.

Understand what makes them tick.

You can’t do that if you’re stuck in your head thinking about yourself

Stop being so selfish.

Stop thinking you’re the only person that matters.

We all walk around with an invisible sign on our chest saying ‘See me’.

We all want to be seen.

We all want to be acknowledged.

We all want to be understood.

Most people won’t do that for you.

Most people don’t care.

Most people don’t give a shit about you.

So stop waiting.

Stop waiting for someone else to validate you.

Stop waiting for someone else to accept you.

Stop waiting for someone else to make you happy.

Show up, love yourself and ask people about themselves.

Be curious.

Be present.

Be loving.

But know that.

They don’t care.
